Overview
VerdeForest is a play-to-earn forest on Robinhood Chain. You buy a seed with the token, which mints an NFT tree. That tree earns a share of every the token that enters the treasury, sized by its growth power and boosted by how consistently you water it. When it dies, you buy another seed.
The loop is deliberately short. Trees do not last forever and cannot be extended, so the forest keeps turning over.
The Ash
The fiction, for anyone who wants it. Every part of it maps onto a real mechanic, so none of it will tell you something the contract will not.
Before the Ashfall there were other forests, and other chains to hold them. They burned. Not slowly and not fairly, and what was left when the smoke cleared was the Ash: a grey plain of spent ledgers, flat to the horizon, holding nothing that could grow.
Something under it lived. The Verde is not a tree and never was. It is a root network, older than the fire that took everything above it, and it has exactly one property that matters to anyone standing on the Ash. It cannot create sap. It can only move it. Whatever the living pour into the root, the root pushes back out through whatever is still growing at that moment.
This is why nothing you harvest was conjured. Every drop of sap that rises through your tree went into the ground first, carried there by somebody else who knelt in the same grey dirt and planted something.
The Keepers are the ones who work it. A Keeper carries a seed onto the plain, opens the ground, and waters what comes up. The root registers the effort. A stronger tree pulls a wider channel; a tree tended day after day pulls wider still. A tree left to dry keeps its channel, but a narrow one.
And nothing on the Ash lasts. A Dendron holds fifteen days. Yggdrasil, the world tree, holds seventy-five and not an hour more. When a tree falls the root reclaims its channel, and every tree still standing drinks a little deeper for it. That is the only fairness the forest has, and it is not a small one: no Keeper holds a share forever, and the ground is always open to whoever comes next.
The token
Nothing about the token is published yet: no ticker, no supply figure, no launch venue. It does not exist, and a page listing those details before it does gives anyone launching a counterfeit a complete template with our own litepaper as the evidence.
What can be said now: supply is fixed, there is no mint function after launch, and there is no team allocation. Every unit paid out as harvest came from a unit somebody put in. The reward pool starts empty.
Trees and rarities
You pick the rarity you want. There is no gacha and no roll: the seed you pay for is the tree you get.
| Tree | Growth power | Lives |
|---|---|---|
| CommonDendron | 48K | 15d |
| RareAlsos | 96K | 25d |
| EpicDrymos | 194K | 45d |
| LegendaryYggdrasil | 260K | 75d |
Growth power is a share weight, not a payout. A Yggdrasil carries 5.4x a Dendron's power and lives five times as long. Seed prices are published with the token.
Water multiplier
Watering is one cheap transaction, allowed once every 24 hours. Each consecutive day adds 0.1x, up to 1.5x after five days.
| Streak | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Multiplier | 1.0x | 1.1x | 1.2x | 1.3x | 1.4x | 1.5x |
Miss a window by more than a day and the streak resets. The multiplier applies to everything accruing from that point on, not retroactively.
Harvest
Every the token that enters the treasury is split across the living forest:
your share = yourGrowthPower ÷ totalGrowthPowerThis is the same arithmetic as mining. Your tree is hashrate; the forest is the network. When more trees are planted your slice gets thinner, and when trees die it gets thicker.
There is no fixed daily rate, and that is deliberate. A promised rate is a promise the treasury has to keep even when nothing is coming in, and it breaks before the game does. A share cannot break: it only ever divides what actually arrived.
There is no claim cooldown. Claiming often does not earn you more, and waiting does not lose you anything.
Accrual stops at death. Anything a tree earned before it died is still claimable afterwards.
Harvest All claims every ready tree in one transaction. Ownership is checked per tree, and trees with nothing pending are skipped rather than failing the batch.
Where rewards come from
Three inflows fill the reward pool. There are no others, and the pool starts at zero.
Seed purchase
- Reward pool90%
- Burned10%
- Team0%
Sell fee (1% of trade)
- Reward pool0.7%
- pons protocol0.3%
Buy fee (1% of trade)
- Team0.5%
- Buyback & burn0.2%
- pons protocol0.3%
Wheel spin
- Burned50%
- Reward pool40%
- Team10%
Trading fee percentages are points of the trade, not shares of a share. pons takes 0.3% before anything reaches us.
The team earns nothing from seed sales. Team revenue comes from the 0.5% buy fee and, once the wheel is enabled, its 10% share.
Sinks
Supply is fixed, so the only way it shrinks is by burning. the token leaves circulation permanently through:
- 10% of every seed purchase
- 50% of every wheel spin
- 0.2% of every buy, via buyback and burn
Burned tokens go to a dead address rather than through a burn function, so they are verifiable on-chain and irreversible.
The wheel
A gamble for a free seed. Not open, and no cost or odds are published yet: neither is final until the randomness is, and a reward table for something nobody can play only invites people to plan around figures that may still move.
Contracts
Nothing is deployed to mainnet yet. Every address will be published here and on X the moment it is, and those will be the only official ones.
Disclaimer
Two mechanics worth knowing before you buy, because they differ from what a staking product would do:
- A seed is spent, not staked. There is no withdraw. What you pay is split between the reward pool and the burn address on purchase.
- Rewards are funded by activity. The pool is filled by seed sales, trading fees and spins. If those stop, it stops filling, and claims wait until it refills.
Beyond that: crypto is volatile, everything here is denominated in the token rather than dollars, and the contracts are unaudited. Nothing on this site is financial advice. DYOR and only put in what you can afford to lose.
